Create an amazing british style text effect (part 1)

1. Background creation
Step 1
Create a new document with a size of 838 by 530 pixels. Place the “Texture: Wood floor” image on top of the background layer and resize it accordingly:

Add a hue / saturation adjustment layer and change the value of Saturation to -83:
Step 3
Add the adjustment layer “Levels” and change the values ​​of “Input mid-level” to 1.17, “Input light level” to 238:
Step 4
Place the “Marble texture” image on top of all layers, resize it accordingly, and then change the layer’s blending mode to “Darken the base”, “Opacity” – 30%:
2. Create text and work path
Step 1
Enter the text in capital letters, use the font Rockin Record G, Size – 235 points, color – # f2ece6. Set the “Tracking” value to 100:

Right-click on the text and select “Create Work Path”, and then turn off the visibility of the text layer:
3. Stroke the work path with brushes 1 and 2
Step 1
Set the foreground color to # f1ece6, create a new layer on top of all the layers and name it 1. Then circle the outline with brush 1 from the brush set of text effect brushes:
Step 2
Create a new layer on top of layer 1, name it 2 and circle the outline with brush 2.

Duplicate layer 2, and change the Fill value of the copy to 0:
Step 3
Duplicate a copy of 2 layers, holding Ctrl, click on the thumbnail of the text layer to create a selection, and then remove the selected part from the copy of 2 layers:
4. Outline of the inner working circuit

Compress the selection by 10 pixels:

Convert the selection to a work path by clicking on the “Make a work path from the selected area” icon at the bottom of the Paths palette:

Create a new layer on top of all layers and name it 3, circle the outline with brush 3, duplicate layer 3 and change the Fill value for the copy to 0:

Again, create a selection from the original text and squeeze that selection by 15 pixels.

Create a new layer on top of all layers and name it 4, fill the selection with the foreground color:

Convert the selection to a work path and circle it with brush 3:
5. Layer 1 styles
Step 1
Open the “Seamless Bread Texture” image and set its size to 295 by 275 pixels. Then go to Edit> Define Pattern and name the pattern Bread Texture:
Double click on layer 1 to apply the following layer styles.
Step 2
Add Embossing with the following parameter values:

Depth: 275;
Gloss contour: “Gaussian”;
Check the box for the “Smoothing” option;
Shadow mode: “Linear dimming”;
Color: # e6d6bf:

Step 3
Add a Contour style with the following parameter values:

Contour: “Semicircle”;
Check the box for the Smooth option:

Step 4
Add a Texture style with the following parameter values:

Pattern: “Bread Texture”;
Depth: 50%;
Check the box for the Invert option:

Add a Pattern Overlay style with the following settings:

Pattern: “Bread Texture”:

Add a Shadow style with the following parameter values:

Opacity: 12%;
Uncheck the “Global Lighting” option;
Angle: 99;
Displacement: 18;
Size: 6:

6. Layer 2 Styles and Layer 2 Copies
Step 1
Change the blending mode of layer 2 to Multiply:

Double-click on a copy of layer 2 and apply the Shadow style to it with the following parameter values:

Color: # 6e6355;
Opacity: 50%;
Displacement: 5;
Size: 10;

So we added a shadow around the edges:

7. Styles of the second copy of layer 2
Double-click on the second copy of layer 2 and apply the following styles to it:

Step 1
Add an Embossing style with the following parameter values:

Size: 10;
Backlight mode: color: # 695041, opacity: 50%;
Shadow Mode: Color: # AA998B, Opacity: 30%:

Step 2
Add a Contour style with the following parameter values:
Step 3
Add a Texture style with the following parameter values:

Pattern: “Bread Texture”;
Depth: 50%.
