Create a shiny shield (part 3)

Step 27
After that, select the Move tool (V). Set the top layer Opacity to 24%. The figure below shows the final form of the “refl left mid” layer:
Step 28
Create a new layer on top of this layer – “refl top”. It should have approximately the same shape and be placed there, as shown in the figure below:
Go to Filter> Blur> Gaussian Blur, set the “Radius” to 3 pixels:

Then add a layer mask to the “refl top” layer and use a soft black brush with an opacity of 50%, draw the bottom of the mask, as shown in the figure below:

Step 29
While holding down the CTRL key, click on the “shield core” layer to select it. Create a new layer of shiny surface above the “refl top” layer and name it “refl lower”. Fill the selection with white. Then delete the right half of the shape:
Hold down the CTRL key and click on the “refl lower” layer to select it. Select any of the tools to highlight, for example, Lasso. Then right-click inside the selection and select “Transform Selection”:

Again, right-click inside the frame bounding the selection transformation area and select the “Distort” item. Then drag the levers of the anchor points to change the selection, as shown in the figure below:

Press the ENTER key to apply the changes. You can also check the corresponding box in the options bar. Then press the DELETE button to delete the selected area:

Apply for the resulting white figure “Gaussian Blur”, “Radius” – 1 pixel. Reduce the “Opacity” of the layer to 50:

Step 30
Using the same technique, create two new layers on top of the “refl lower” layer. Call them “refl left side” and “refl right side”:
Set them to “Gaussian Blur”, “Radius” – 1 pixel and reduce the opacity of both layers to 50%. This concludes the work on the glare layers:

Step 31
Create a new layer named “ribbon front” on top of the “refl right side” layer. Select the Rectangular Area tool and create a rectangular shape as shown in the image below. Fill the “Gray” layer with 50%:
Go to Edit> Transform> Warp:

In the options panel at the top of the program window, select the type of deformation – “Arch”:

Drag the top anchor point of the frame bounding the arch to change its orientation. Press ENTER to apply the transformation:

Step 32
Double click on the “ribbon front” layer to open the “Layer Styles” window. First, apply the Stroke style:
Step 33
After that we set the parameters for the “Internal Glow” style. Click on the “Contour” field and set the value to “Linear contour”:
Step 34
The following Gradient Overlay style:
Next is the Gradient Editor:

The final view of the tape layer:

Step 35
Duplicate the “ribbon front” layer by right-clicking on it and selecting the menu item “Duplicate layer”. Make sure the Move tool (V) is still active, and drag the current copy layer below the “ribbon front” layer. Then press SHIFT + the up arrow key several times to move the copy just above the tape:
Step 36
Select the Rectangle Tool and create a selection, as shown in the image below:
Step 37
Go to Layer> New> Cut To New Layer. With this command you cut the selected part and paste it on a new layer. Then move these two layers as shown in the image below:
Step 38
Use the Rectangle Tool again to select and remove parts of the layers on both sides, as shown in the figure below. Then rename these two layers to “ribbon left end” and “riboon right end”:
Step 39
Double-click on the “ribbon left end” layer and open the “Layer Styles” window. The image below shows the settings for the Gradient Overlay style:
