Create a new document with a size of 838 by 530 pixels. Place the “Texture: Wood floor” image on top of the background layer and resize it accordingly:
Add a hue / saturation adjustment layer and change the value of Saturation to -83:
Add the adjustment layer “Levels” and change the values of “Input mid-level” to 1.17, “Input light level” to 238:
Place the “Marble texture” image on top of all layers, resize it accordingly, and then change the layer’s blending mode to “Darken the base”, “Opacity” – 30%:

1. Create letter shapes
Create a document with a size of 1,500 by 1,500 pixels, and in the font Insaniburger write the first letter of the word in any color. At the same time, the font size does not matter, since we can change the scale when converting text to a 3D grid.
After creating the text, go to Text> Convert To Curves. Or call the context menu by right-clicking on the text layer and select the appropriate item:
Duplicate the text layer, rename the copy, and select the Site Selection tool.
In the upper panel, change the value of the Fill property to None. Continue reading
Delete the background quickly
Use the Quick Selection tool to quickly select the elements that you want to save in the image. The tool looks like a brush with a small dotted ball at the end. This should be the fourth tool on top of the toolbar.
The Quick Selection tool automatically finds the borders near which you click, adding them to the selection:
Click near the borders of the elements that you want to save. Click and scroll through the image, and the details that you want to save that are not the background will be highlighted. Continue until everything you need to save is included in the selection. Continue reading
